Who do smoke-free/vape-free environments help most?

  • Those who have vulnerable lungs and hearts
  • Those who are trying to quit using nicotine products
More than half of Vermont smokers have made a quit attempt in the last year, according to the VT Dept. of Health. Reducing secondhand smoke in public places can help to support those attempting to quit.

“Completely smoke-free environments protect smokers and non-smokers, reduce tobacco use in current smokers and also help those who want to quit.” World Health Organization (WHO)
